DESCRIPTION:We are very excited to announce that we will be hosting once-monthly community acupuncture on the last Sunday of each month. \nCommunity acupuncture is performed in a group setting\, seated in chairs\, and includes a group meditation. \nHow do I know if community acupuncture is right for me? \n\nYou are looking for lower-cost acupuncture treatment.\n\nCommunity acupuncture is offered at a reduced-cost (almost 70% off the price of a private acupuncture session)\, making it a good option for those whose insurance does not cover acupuncture or for those who find the cost of routine private acupuncture to be less accessible. \n\nYou feed off group energy.\n\nThe group setting of community acupuncture has a unique benefit in its communal nature. The energy of a group of people joining together in the same room to heal together can be quite powerful. \n\nYour primary goal of treatment is to reduce stress or improve emotional well-being.\n\nGroup acupuncture works well for stress\, anxiety\, depression\, PTSD\, grief\, addiction\, and more. Traditionally and historically\, community acupuncture is used universally for all types of stress\, trauma\, and emotional challenges. \nCommunity acupuncture may not be a good fit for you if: \n\nYou prefer privacy during your sessions.\n\nDue to the community nature of these sessions\, intakes are completed one-on-one\, but not in a private room. If you prefer not to discuss personal health matters in front of others\, you may be prefer private acupuncture sessions. \n\nYour primary goal is to address back pain or pain symptoms on the back part of the body.\n\nYou will be fully clothed and seated in a chair for these sessions and your acupuncturist will not have access to your back. But my true calling began over a decade ago when I shifted into holistic health—combining movement\, mindfulness\, and energy medicine to support lasting wellness. \nI’m certified in yoga and Qigong\, with additional training in Tai Qi. I bring over 15 years of experience in practicing and teaching Qigong\, breathwork\, and meditation.​ \nOver the years\, I’ve worked with children\, seniors\, and special populations including those with MS\, diabetes\, post-rehabilitation needs\, and women’s health concerns. \nToday\, I focus solely on Qigong and breathwork—offering simple\, gentle practices that help release stress\, restore energy\, and support the body’s natural ability to heal. \nMy belief is that true well-being comes from aligning the physical\, emotional\, and energetic self.
